Food & Drinks Ideas To Elevate That Adult, End-Of-The-Year Gaming Marathon Party

    Published:

When throwing an end-of-the-ear gaming party for your closest friends, food and drink selections are one of the most important considerations. After all, no one wants to be hungry or thirsty while trying to frag their friends in-game. Here are a few fantastic options for food, snacks, and drinks that are perfect for any adult-themed gaming party:

    1. Pizza will forever and always be a hit at any party. However, it’s particularly convenient for a gaming party because it’s easy to eat. Consider ordering a few large pizzas – go nuts with your toppings; you know your friends better than we do (but definitely order pepperoni). If you’re feeling up to it, lay out the supplies for your friends to create their own.
    2. Is there anything more classic than “chips and dips?” This classic combo is simply easy to prepare and serve. Set out a variety of dips, such as guacamole, salsa, and cheese, along with a bountiful selection of tortilla/potato chips.
    3. It’s time to turn up the gaming party experiences that your friends remember from 10 years ago. Set out a charcuterie board with a variety of meats, cheeses, and other “nibbles.” You’re older and have money now… it’s time to elevate the experience.
    4. High-caffeine soft drinks: Soft drinks are a classic party drink, but for a gaming party, it might be helpful to opt for those with higher caffeine content to keep your friends alert and focused. We’re looking at you Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Mountain Dew Code Red, Mountain Dew Live Wire, Mountain Dew Voltage, and Mountain Dew Major Melon. But sure, Monster Zero Ultra, Bawls, and Rockstar are excellent backups.
    5. As adults, you’re probably going to game the same, but at least now… you can drink. For beer, consider opting for a variety of IPAs or other hoppy options. For wine, consider setting out a selection of reds and whites.

You have many options to choose from, and while you know your gaming buddies’ favorite snacks and drinks, don’t be afraid to elevate your late-night gaming sesh with more adult-themed snacks and drinks.
